Head of Commercial/Brand Partnerships
Bored Panda is a global leader in entertainment content, producing uplifting stories in 17 languages - from editorial to animation - for audiences of all ages. With 350+ creatives from 42 countries and two offices in Vilnius, Lithuania, we're on a mission to fight boredom at unprecedented scale.
You'll be joining boredpanda.com - a leading content publisher reaching millions of readers every month. As Head of Commercial/Brand Partnerships, your primary focus will be building and owning direct brand partnerships, creating a new commercial revenue stream from the ground up. You will own the full commercial cycle: identifying and approaching prospective partners, leading negotiations, closing agreements, and developing relationships that deliver long-term value for both sides. This is a role that demands equal parts commercial rigour and strategic vision - someone who can build a partnership pipeline from the ground up, while simultaneously shaping the processes, playbooks, and foundations that will define how this function scales. For the right person, it is also an opportunity to grow into leading the team around them.
What You Will Do:
Build and manage a pipeline of brand and agency partners from prospecting through to signed agreements;
Lead consultative conversations with marketing directors, brand managers, and C-suite stakeholders — understanding their objectives and positioning Bored Panda's reach and audiences as the solution;
Develop and pitch bespoke partnership proposals across content, distribution, and creative formats;
Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and pipeline reporting;
Contribute directly to building our commercial playbook — documenting what works so it can be scaled;
Collaborate with editorial, social media, and creative teams to shape partnership formats that work for both sides;
Represent Bored Panda in market with confidence and authority.
What We Expect:
4–7 years of experience in media sales, content partnerships, or/and brand partnerships - publishing experience strongly preferred;
A genuine hunter: you're energised by prospecting, comfortable with rejection, and focused on closing;
Proven track record of building new business relationships from scratch, not just managing inherited accounts;
Confident leading complex, multi-stakeholder conversations from first contact to signed contract;
Commercially sharp — you understand how brands think about media investment and can speak their language;
Organised and rigorous: accurate forecasting, clean CRM discipline, P/L management, and strong follow-through;
Ambitious enough to want to eventually build and lead a team, but grounded enough to do the hands-on work now;
Comfortable working in a fast-moving, lean environment where you'll need to figure things out as you go.
What We Offer:
Collaboration with a diverse, international team of talented individuals;
Flexibility to work fully remotely;
A supportive and encouraging work environment.
Salary: From £4310 gross/month depending on expertise, plus additional bonuses.
