If you’re passionate about YouTube, have a knack for spotting trends before they go viral, and know how to turn ideas into engaging, high-retention scripts, this role is for you! We’re searching for a Lead Scriptwriter to create original, entertaining videos for our Mr. Bricks channel, tailored for a young audience. From shaping briefs to delivering production-ready scripts, you’ll play a key role in bringing fresh, fun content to life alongside our creative video team. Excited? So are we.  What You Will Do:

• Write high-retention scripts (including voice-over) crafted specifically for YouTube with strong pacing, humor, and structure;
• Work closely with the Creators and the Post-Production team to shape briefs and topics for upcoming videos;
• Identify and assess trends and viral formats to determine which concepts are worth developing into scripts;
• Develop original, entertaining, and funny video ideas tailored to a young audience with strong creative instinct;
• Analyze audience behavior, performance patterns, and content dynamics to guide script direction;
• Collaborate with content creators and crafters to ensure scripts are filmable, efficient, and optimized for shooting;
• Take ownership of script quality, delivering work that requires minimal revisions and meets deadlines consistently.

What We Expect:

• Deep understanding of YouTube content, audience behavior, and retention mechanics;
• Proven experience writing successful scripts for YouTube or other viral-driven platforms;
• Advanced storytelling skills with strong comedic timing, narrative flow, and audience engagement;
• Strong research ability to uncover compelling hooks, angles, and story opportunities;
• Solid understanding of video production pacing, feasibility, and visual requirements;
• Ability to work independently, make creative decisions confidently, and solve challenges without close supervision;
• High level of creativity, initiative, efficiency, and reliability in meeting deadlines;
• Advanced English writing and communication skills;
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to stay aligned with creative direction and production needs.

Compensation: The role comes with a fixed gross monthly salary of up to €4000, based on qualifications and experience.
