We are looking for an experienced Head of Operations (News Department), who will play a critical role in ensuring that we are the fastest in the market with breaking news and our department operations are efficient, effective, and profitable.

What You Will Do:

• Optimize our content creation processes and ensure their efficiency and necessity;

• Ensure maximum speed of news delivery to the reader;

• Work with IT department on editor tools, dashboards and automation;

• Constantly analyze key metrics and drive performance improvements;

• Be responsible for creating a team structure, and compensation models and helping them to optimize their work;

• Ensure high quality of our content (fact-checking, research, etc)

• Ensure smooth workflow between remote employees working across different time zones;

• Analyze the financial strategies, adjust the operations to reach the goals, and have a full understanding of how to do it in the best possible way;

• Carry out additional responsibilities and projects as assigned, including administrative and planning functions.

What We Expect:

• Previous experience in operational, process improvement, and process creation roles;

• Strong numeracy and data analysis skills and passion for using data to improve project performance;

• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment would be considered an advantage;

• Previous experience leading an international team (working in different time zones) would be considered an advantage;

• Fluency in English (both written and verbal).
