We are excited to announce that we are currently looking for an experienced Full-stack Developer to join our team. As a Full Stack Developer at Bored Panda, you will play an important role in our cross-functional teams, collaborating to develop, enhance, and maintain Bored Panda' main website infrastructure on AWS. Your primary goals will include optimizing the website for exceptional speed, scalability, and superior user experience.

What you will do:

• Strive to enhance website performance by focusing on Core Web Vitals, ensuring that specific measurable metrics are met and improved;
• Craft responsive and intuitive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
• Create engaging and efficient user experiences and run A/B testing experiments to test it;
• Develop internal tools for process automation, web scraping and analytical purposes;
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to suggest improvements and innovative solutions.

What we expect:

• Proven experience as a full-stack developer;
• Proficiency in PHP (Laravel), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design;
• Expertise in WordPress development;
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and package managers;
• Solid understanding of website performance optimisation techniques;
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, content creators, and other developers;
• Excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Proficiency in third-party integrations/APIs
• Prior experience with AI integration (such as GPT, Midjourney, etc.) is considered a strong advantage;
• Knowledge of SEO best practices would be considered an advantage;
• Previous work with ad-tech and high-traffic websites would be considered an advantage.
