We are excited to announce that we are currently looking for a talented writer/journalist to join our team in the new Breaking News department. Prepare to work for a leading publisher of uplifting stories that cure boredom all over the world!

What you will do:

• You will write articles about viral or trending stories, breaking news, celebrities or society stories;
• You will conduct thorough research and finding most interesting news stories angles;
• You will create titles that flesh out stories and engage users;
• You will compete against the world’s top publishers to be the first to cover breaking news.

What we expect:

• Native-level English skills;
• Good writing skills;
• High attention to detail and passion for quality;
• Ability to generate own news/entertainment stories (showbusiness)
• Ability to write strong headlines;
• Keen eye for photos;
• Newsroom experience;
• Experience in finding and breaking exclusive stories would be an advantage.

Applicants must be able to deliver vibrant, clean copy to very tight deadlines.

Salary: 1900-2450 EUR/gross fix + 600-1700 EUR variable part (before taxes)
