Our team consists of 500+ hardworking pandas who create content for 177 million followers on more than 200 social media channels. Bored Panda was named #1 Facebook page in 2017.

Now we are seeking a passionate and motivated Editor to join our panda office in Vilnius! You will be working with a team of journalists and photo editors with a mission to create the most engaging and viral stories on the Internet.

Responsibilities:

• Making sure our stories are engaging, easy to read, and shareable;
• Combining your creativity and analytic skills to come up with the catchiest article headlines;  
• Brainstorming ideas for irresistible Facebook cover images;  
• A/B testing multiple headlines and Facebook covers to find the best performing combination;  
• Researching each story to ensure that they're comprehensive and factually correct;  
• Closely cooperating with other team members (writers, photo editors, etc.) and ensuring the best quality is reached and the deadlines are met.

Requirements:

• A native-level English speaker;
• Good writing skills;
• High attention to detail;
• Multitasking and time management control;
• Passion for social media and social issues (Reddit, Imgur, etc);
• Photoshop skills will be considered as an advantage;
• Experience in similar position or marketing/advertising agencies (advantage);
• Curious and active personality.
